On November 18, 2019, at approximately 6:41am, Steinbach RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Brandt Street in Steinbach. The incident involved three vehicles.
Police investigation revealed that the driver of a Pontiac G6, a 37-year-old male, was proceeding east from Highway 52 towards Main Street when it collided with a Dodge Caliber proceeding North on Brandt Street. The collision caused the Dodge Caliber to then collide with a Honda Civic that was also proceeding North on Brandt Street.
RCMP report that the two male occupants from the Dodge Caliber, along with the one female occupant of the Honda Civic, were transported to hospital as a precautionary measure. All individuals involved in this incident are from Steinbach.
Police say that the investigation is ongoing and charges are being contemplated.
