Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a recent mischief and theft incident that occurred at Steinbach Trailers & RV, located at 64 Highway 12 North in Steinbach.
On December 4, 2019, at approximately 10:55am, Steinbach RCMP received a report of mischief and theft that occurred at Steinbach Trailers & RV. Police say that nine trailers had their power cords cut up, resulting in copper wire being stolen from the units. The damage is estimated to be approximately $1,500.
Staff at the dealership say that they noticed bicycle tracks entering and exiting the back of the property. It is believed that the suspect(s) would have been using a larger backpack to carry the tools needed, as well as having the space required to carry the copper wire.
