The recent discovery of a body in the Rural Municipality of Rosedale is being investigated by RCMP as a homicide.
On December 24, 2019, at approximately 4pm, Neepawa RCMP responded to a report that a body had been located in the Rural Municipality of Rosedale, Manitoba. The body has been identified as Cody Mousseau, a 32-year-old male from Sandy Bay First Nation.
Police say that Cody Mousseau was reported missing to the Manitoba First Nations Police Service on December 8, 2019. It is believed that he was last seen in Sandy Bay between November 27 and December 1, 2019.
RCMP report that the death is being investigated as a homicide. RCMP Major Crime Services, RCMP Forensic Identification Services and Manitoba First Nation Police Service are assisting Neepawa RCMP with the investigation.
