Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information pertaining to the homicide of a Thompson, Manitoba resident, 83-year-old Franc Mlakar.
On November 17, 2016, Thompson RCMP received a call that someone was concerned for the well-being of an 83-year-old man. Police responded to the man’s residence and upon entering, found him deceased.
Police investigation revealed the death to be a homicide.
Franc Mlakar was a long-time Thompson resident and was last seen on October 31, 2016. RCMP are asking that anyone with information on Mlakar’s activity between when he was last seen and the date he was discovered deceased is asked to contact Thompson RCMP at 204-677-6909 or Manitoba CrimeStoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
