Canadian Gold Beverages, a small family owned business located in Marchand, Manitoba, was recently the recipient of a silver medal at the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting event.
At the event, awards were handed out to waters originating from three continents. In total, companies from four continents had 118 products entered.
Flavoured Essence Sparkling Water was a new category in 2018 and the number of entrants doubled this year. The crowd’s favourite was Asarasi Sparkling Tree Cherry Lime from Katonah, NY. Second place was Canadian Gold Lemon Sparkling Water from Marchand, MB and third place went to Mountain Valley Blackberry Pomegranate Sparkling Water from Hot Springs, AR.
Canadian Gold Beverages was the only Canadian bottling company that made it to the finals in this year’s Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Competition and has been a medalist winner for the past twelve years.
