The City of Steinbach has announced a number of changes to its facilities and public services due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City of Steinbach is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. Providing essential services continues to be top priority while protecting the health and well-being local residents and employees. As a result of this evolving situation, the City would like to inform residents of the following:

  • Effective immediately, the Steinbach Aquatic Centre and T.G. Smith Centre will be closed to the public until further notice. Anyone currently enrolled in swimming lessons will be contacted directly with further information. Anyone with facility rental bookings will also be contacted directly. The spring lesson registration planned for next week is postponed until further notice.
  • All other City facilities remain open however residents are encouraged to contact the City by phone or email instead of in-person visits. Residents wanting to make payments can do so by online banking or by using the drop box located at the main entrance to City Hall.   • Any updates on the COVID-19 situation as it relates to City of Steinbach facilities, services and programs will be posted on the City website at steinbach.ca. Updates will also be shared through the City’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
