Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may be related to a recent purse theft incident that occurred near the Canada Post office located on Main Street in Steinbach.
On April 23, 2020, at approximately 4pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a theft from a vehicle that occurred on Main street in front of the Canada Post office. Police say that an unknown suspect had opened an unlocked car door and stolen a purse from inside the vehicle.
The stolen item is described as a blue and white striped backpack style purse.
