Virden RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing 20-year-old Brandon woman, Tyra Mason.
On December 5, 2016, at approximately 12:30am, Virden RCMP received a report of a missing 20-year-old woman, Tyra Mason, who was last seen December 5, 2016, at approximately midnight on Sioux Valley Dakota First Nation, Manitoba.
Police say that Tyra left a residence in Sioux Valley Dakota First Nation with her dog, a two-month old poodle mix, and it appears she walked toward Highway 21.
Tyra Mason is from Brandon, Manitoba. She is described as aboriginal, 5’5″ tall, weighs 170 pounds and has brown hair with blond streaks and brown eyes. She has a feather tattoo at the bottom of her neck.
RCMP report that Tyra was not dressed for the elements. She was wearing a thin green jacket, black yoga pants and high grey socks with no shoes. With below freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall in the forecast, police are very concerned for Tyra’s well-being.
