A Selkirk man is facing a number of impaired driving-related charges after being arrested by Steinbach RCMP this past weekend.
On December 3, 2016, at approximately 10:15 pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a call of a disturbance at a location on Fifth Street in Steinbach, Manitoba. Upon arriving at the location, officers were approached by a vehicle. Police spoke to the male driver of the vehicle who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
Police say that the driver was arrested and taken to the Steinbach RCMP Detachment where he refused to provide samples of his breath.
RCMP report that the 47-year-old male driver, from Selkirk, was charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample. He will appear in Steinbach court later this month.
