Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a Nissan SUV and a StarX dirt bike, both stolen from an auction compound in Steinbach.
On May 25, 2020, Steinbach RCMP received a report of two thefts from the Penner Auction compound located on Brandt Street in Steinbach.
Police say that the first theft occurred on May 15 during the night. Investigation shows that a male suspect entered the compound and took a 2008 StarX 250cc 4 stroke dirt bike. The second theft occurred on May 25 during the night. Investigation determined that the same male suspect entered the compound and stole a green 2005 Nissan X-Trail.
