In hopes of identifying suspects in the 1998 homicide of Tania Marsden, Project Devote investigators have released five composite sketches to the public.
Tania Marsden was last seen alive on her 18th birthday, September 9, 1998. She was celebrating with friends at the Gordon Downtowner Motor Hotel, but after leaving her birthday party that night, she was not seen again until her body was found partially submerged in the Assiniboine River.
Tania’s murder remains unsolved. Project Devote investigators are dedicated to finding justice for Tania and her family. On November 15, 2016, investigators executed a search warrant at 865 Selkirk Avenue. This warrant was in relation to Tania’s murder. Now, Project Devote needs public assistance in identifying the individuals in five composite sketches as well as information on a vehicle, a white mid-1980s four-door sedan.
“We believe that identifying the individuals in the sketches could help lead us to Tania’s killer,” said Sgt. Shawn Pike, Project Devote Team Commander. “Tania deserves justice. Her family deserves an answer. Please call us with any information.”
