Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a 2006 Honda Accord, recently stolen from a local residence.
Police say that on July 30, 2020, unknown suspect(s) broke into a home garage located on Blair Bay in Steinbach. As a result, the suspect(s) rummaged through personal property inside the garage while leaving items scattered across the garage floor.
RCMP report that a grey 2006 Honda Accord, which was parked inside the garage, was stolen. During the incident, while trying to get the vehicle out of the garage, the suspect(s) caused extensive damage to the back bumper and passenger side door of the vehicle. Also damaged was the garage door frame, as well as another vehicle that had been parked on the driveway in front of the garage.
On August 04, Steinbach RCMP were notified that the stolen vehicle was located by the Winnipeg Police Service.
