Powerview RCMP have recently seized a quantity of cocaine, drug related paraphernalia and a firearm, as a result of two searches at local residences.
On August 22, 2020, at 6pm, as a result of an ongoing investigation, officers from Powerview executed a search warrant at a residence located on Walnut Street in Pine Falls. The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 110 grams of cocaine, along with drug related paraphernalia.
Later that same evening, at approximately 9pm, officers executed a search warrant at a residence located on Louise Street in Powerview. The search of this residence resulted in the seizure of a saw-off shotgun and ammunition.
RCMP report that 39-year-old Vidal Bruyere and 31-year-old Sarina Houston, both of Pine Falls, have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. Also charged is 29-year-old William Yuzicappi of Powerview. Yuzicappi faces four counts of firearm related offences.
