Carman RCMP are currently investigating a hit and run that involved a 16-year-old female youth in Gretna, Manitoba.
On September 30, 2020, at approximately, 10:30pm, Carman RCMP received a report of a possible hit and run at a location on Pieper Avenue in Gretna.
Police say that a 16-year-old female youth had gone for a run and not returned home. Friends of the youth were able to locate her and stated that.she was seriously injured and transported to hospital.
When officers attended the scene, it became apparent that a vehicle had collided with the pedestrian.

Police noted that the female youth remains in hospital in stable but critical condition.
