Bethesda Foundation has recently announced that Kent Ledingham has been appointed to the board of directors.
Kent brings years of board experience with him, having served on the board, and as President, of the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce as well as the Manitoba Motor Dealers Association. He is currently President of Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club and has served on the board of Today House.
“I believe that partnerships between civic leadership, community leadership, and business leadership are essential to building a strong, thriving community that support each other,” says Kent. “I believe in doing my part.”
Kent and his family have resided in Steinbach since 2004. He graduated with B.B.A. from Northwood University in Michigan and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago. Kent then went on to work at General Motors Corporation for 8 years, working in Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Toronto. After a short stint back in Regina, Kent and his family moved to Steinbach and purchased the local GM dealership.
“Our board regularly evaluates its composition to ensure it includes the appropriate skills, experience and perspective necessary to obtain our goal of continually improving healthcare services in our community,” said Linda Peters, Executive Director of Bethesda Foundation. “We know Kent’s experience and perspective will be a huge asset.”
