Leaf Rapids RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing woman from the community, 19-year-old Gwyneth Gegenfurtner.
On October 12, 2020, at approximately 5:35 pm, Leaf Rapids RCMP received a report stating that Gwyneth Gegenfurtner was missing. Gwyneth was last seen on October 11, 2020, in the area of Mikinak Bay, in Leaf Rapids.
Gwyneth Gegenfurtner is described as 5’6″ tall, weighs approximately 140 lbs, has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police and family are concerned for the well-being of Gwyneth Gegenfurtner. If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, your are asked to call Leaf Rapids RCMP at 204-473-2469.
Update
RCMP report that the body of 19-year-old Gwyneth Gegenfurtner was recovered on October 23, 2020, from the Churchill River located near Leaf Rapids.
