Two men have died as the result of a recent vehicle rollover that occurred in the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
On October 24, 2020, at approximately 10:50pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover at the Seine River Bridge located on Highway 210 in the RM of Ste. Anne.
Initial police investigation determined that a car was traveling north on Highway 210 when it drifted onto the shoulder of the road, striking the concrete railing of the bridge. The vehicle then flipped onto its side.
RCMP report that the driver, a 63-year-old Ste. Anne man, was pronounced deceased on scene. A 45-year-old male passenger from Scanterbury, Manitoba, was also pronounced deceased on scene.
Police noted that the driver was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident
RCMP continue to investigate this incident with the assistance of an RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist.
