A Steinbach area man is facing charges after RCMP seized a sawed-off shotgun resulting from a recent search warrant execution.
On November 7, 2020 Steinbach RCMP and General Investigative Section executed a search warrant which resulted in the seizure of a sawed-off shotgun that had been in a vehicle. This shotgun is presumed to have been used in a Winnipeg Police file where the shotgun was pointed at the victim.
Police say that the suspect vehicle had been connected to three gas thefts in the Steinbach area.
RCMP report that charges are pending against a 32-year-old male who resides in the local area.
