St. Pierre-Jolys and Steinbach RCMP, along with the assistance of the Major Crimes Unit, have arrested, charged and remanded into custody two out of the three suspects involved in a recent break and enter to a Niverville residence. The incident took place on January 3, 2017, where the homeowner was assaulted with a machete.
RCMP report that 22-year-old Tyler Kenneth Sawatzky of Steinbach and 21-year-old Jonah Daniel Wiens of Niverville have been arrested and are facing numerous charges including robbery and assault with a weapon.
Police say that the third suspect remains at large. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 25-year-old James Thomas Wiebe of Niverville, MB. James Wiebe is considered armed and dangerous and may be in the Morden or Winkler area.

RCMP report that James Wiebe has been located and arrested without incident in Morden by the Morden Police Service.
