The City of Steinbach has announced that it will be re-opening the Steinbach Aquatic Centre on Monday, March 15 at 25 per cent capacity as per provincial public health orders.

The City says that it will be opening the Aquatic Centre for public swim, lap swim, and aquacise classes.

Things to note when planning your visit to the Aquatic Centre are as follows:

  • Public/Lap swims must be pre-purchased online. Admission will be available for pre-purchase 2-3 days in advance.
  • There are NO refunds for Public/Lap swim tickets.
  • Public swims are in 2-hour blocks. Lap swims are in 1-hour blocks.
  • Capacities are limited to 25% as per public health orders.
  • Families must be from the same household.
  • Hot tub and sauna remain closed.
  • Facility rentals are not available at this time.

The City notes that it is not currently taking registrations for swimming lessons at this time, but is looking to do so in the future.
