The City of Steinbach has announced that it will be moving forward with the construction of its first dog park which will be located at L.A. Barkman Kinsmen Park in Steinbach.
The dog park will offer a place to let your canine companion enjoy the outdoors with other dogs in a fenced-in area.
Steinbach’s first dog park will be located in the northwest corner of L.A. Barkman Kinsmen Park, with access off Woodhaven Avenue. The park is expected to be one acre in size, fenced, having dog play structures and a water fountain. A parking lot will also be available directly beside the park to provide easy access when transporting your pet.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2021 at a cost of approximately $50,000.
