The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has announced that it is now accepting public nominations for the 2021 Business Excellence Awards.
“It’s important and exciting to celebrate business in Steinbach, recognizing success and community involvement, especially during the past year,” said Michelle Bezditny, Executive Director of the Steinbach Chamber. “Steinbach is a unique city, and the Chamber’s Business Excellence Awards acknowledge the significant role business plays in making our community incredible.”
The public is encouraged to submit nominations in five categories, including Business of the Year, Customer Service, Community Involvement, Future Leader and Non-Profit Excellence. Nominations will be accepted online at steinbachchamber.com from April 23rd until May 25th.
An independent selection committee, consisting of community members, carefully reviews and evaluates submissions and selects recipients in the Business of the Year, Community Involvement, Future Leader, and Non-Profit Excellence categories. The Customer Service Award is awarded by way of public vote. The public will be asked to go to the Chamber’s website between June 17th and July 15th to select the business they feel is most deserving of the Customer Service Award. The nominee with the highest number of unique public votes receives the award.
Award recipients will be announced and awards presented on September 28, 2021.
