Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a male suspect has recently been arrested and will be facing multiple theft and drug trafficking charges. The incident occurred at a residence in La Broquerie, Manitoba.
On July 25, 2021, at 10:45am, while patrolling in La Broquerie, Steinbach RCMP officers observed a male suspect who was known to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The suspect was in the open garage of a local residence and as a result, officers arrested him on the basis of the warrant for his arrest.
As a result of the incident, police located two stolen motorcycles in the garage of the residence, which have now been recovered.
RCMP report that the male suspect, 47-year-old Kevin Morrison, AKA Alguire, was charged with three counts of possession of stolen property, as well as methamphetamine trafficking charges. Morrison was remanded into custody.
