On February 3, 2017, Virden RCMP executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act warrant at a residence in Virden, Manitoba.
During the search, police located cocaine, crack cocaine, psilocybin (mushrooms), marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a firearm, a knife, an undisclosed amount of cash and cell phones with SIM cards.
Police say that 22-year-old Jenna Mallette and 26-year-old Kasey Packham, both of Virden, were arrested in connection to this investigation. Both individuals are facing numerous charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
RCMP report that both Mallette and Packham have been released from custody pending an upcoming court date.
