The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has announced that the 4th annual Steinbach Burger Days event will run from September 11-18, 2021. This year’s event will feature a record 19 local restaurants who have signed up to create 19 signature burgers.
“This event has very quickly become a community favourite,” said Michelle Bezditny, Executive Director for the Steinbach Chamber. “This year features the most restaurants participating, and just when we think the entries can’t get better, these restaurants take it to the next level! Whether you’re a Burger Days veteran or a first-timer, this event is an incredible opportunity to support our local restaurants and try something new.”
Members of the public are invited to visit as many of the establishments as they can to sample these exquisite creations and rate the burgers for a chance to win more prizes. There are multiple ways to enter the contest during Steinbach Burger Days:
- While you enjoy one of the signature Burger Days creations, take a selfie, and post it on Facebook/Instagram with the tag #SteinbachBurgerDays to be entered to win.
- Rate each burger you taste online at SteinbachChamber.com and be entered for more chances to win. The deadline to rate the burgers is September 18, 2021 at 11pm.
Award-winning restaurants will be announced on September 23rd in three categories, including Best Tasting Burger, Most Creative Burger and Best Presentation.
Participants in this year’s burger challenge include Bigg Smoak BBQ, Blatz B-stro, Boston Pizza, Chicken Chef, Chinos Bistro, Doener Grill Express, Domino’s Pizza, George’s Burgers and Subs, Golden Fried, Hespeler’s Cookhouse & Tavern, Lecoka Café/Pita Hut, Mary Brown’s, MJ’s Kafe, New B’s Café, Quarry Oaks, R-Bistro, Santa Lucia, Sawney Beans and Smitty’s.
