Beausejour RCMP are reporting that a 16-year-old male youth male youth has recently died in connection to an incident that occurred in the parking lot of a local business.
On August 25, 2021, at 9:10am, officers from the Beausejour RCMP received information that a 16-year-old male youth from the RM of Brokenhead, had been seriously injured at approximately 7:30pm the previous evening. It was reported that the incident occurred while in the parking lot of a business located on Park Avenue in Beausejour.
Police believe that the youth was injured when he fell from the back of a pickup truck.
RCMP report that the 16-year-old was transported to local hospital with serious injuries and later transferred to Winnipeg where, on August 27, he succumbed to his injuries.
Beausejour RCMP continue to investigate this incident.
