A Falcon Lake officer, along with a female driver from Ste. Genevieve, both ended up in hospital with non-life threatening injuries after colliding at a location on Highway 1.
On September 17, at approximately 11:55am, a Falcon Lake RCMP officer was traveling east on Highway 1 in a marked police vehicle when he collided with another vehicle.
Police say that the other vehicle was initially traveling south on Provincial Road 302, attempting to make a left hand turn onto Highway 1.
RCMP report that as a result of the collision, the 40-year-old male officer, along with the 21-year-old female driver from Ste. Genevieve, were both transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Steinbach RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate this incident.
