A recent drug-related investigation by Selkirk RCMP has led to two arrests and a quantity of drugs and cash being recovered from a local residence located in Selkirk, Manitoba.
On November 12, 2021, officers from the East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST), Selkirk Detachment and Manitoba East District executed a search warrant at a residence located on Britannia Close in Selkirk.
Police say that the search of the property led to the seizure of approximately 100 grams of cocaine and a small amount of Canadian currency.
Officers arrested two females on scene, a 44-year-old and a 41-year-old, both from Selkirk, and were released for a court appearance scheduled January 31, 2022, in Selkirk. Both suspects arrested are facing drug-related charges.
