Today’s five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 12.5 per cent provincially. As of 9:30am on March 3, 2022, 165 new cases of the virus have been identified. It is estimated that actual case numbers are eight to 10 times higher than reported due to the rapid spread of the omicron variant and much diminished PCR testing done by the province.
