Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a suspect involved in a recent gas theft incident that occurred earlier in March.
On March 22, 2022, Steinbach RCMP received a report regarding a theft incident that occurred at a mobile gas bar.
Police investigation determined that a male suspect put $142 worth of gas into a vehicle and left without paying. Police noted that the driver did not attempt to pay for the gas and this incident appeared to be intentional.
The male suspect is described as Caucasian, stocky, and was wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for assistance in identifying the male suspect.
