Emerson RCMP are reporting that a 67-year-old man from the Rural Municipality of Morris, Manitoba has recently died as the result of a tractor accident that occurred at a rural property.
On April 15, 2022, at approximately 2:25pm, Emerson RCMP received a report of an incident at a rural property on Road 35 NE in the RM of Morris.
Police investigation has determined that a 67-year-old man, who lived at the location, was clearing snow on the property using an open cab tractor. The tractor slid into a water-filled ditch and overturned, trapping the man under the water.
RCMP report that the local fire department was able to extract the male victim, but he was pronounced deceased on scene.
