A 35-year-old Morris, Manitoba man was recently arrested and charged in connection to a police investigation involving child pornography.
The Manitoba RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) recently received several complaints from the RCMP National Child Exploitation Crime Centre regarding the possession of child pornography in southern Manitoba.
As a result of the complaint, the ICE unit, along with the RCMP Digital Forensics Services Unit, assisted by the Morris RCMP and East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team, executed a search warrant at a residence located on Willow Drive in Morris.
Police say that as a result of the search, officers located evidence to support additional drug and firearm related offences. Seized by RCMP in the search were firearms, ammunition, weapons, cash, approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine, along with other drugs.
RCMP report that 35-year-old Andrew Gray of Morris was arrested at the scene and is now facing multiple charges stemming from the investigation.
