Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may be connected to three recent vehicle theft incidents that occurred in and around Steinbach, Blumenort and the La Broquerie area.
On July 22, 2022 at 6:15pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of vehicle theft. Police say that the vehicle had broken down and was left locked on the side of the road at a location on Highway 302 and 303 on July 20 at 8 pm. The owner returned to the scene on July 22 at 5:30am and discovered that the vehicle was gone. The vehicle is described as a white 1989 Chevrolet Capris with Manitoba licence plate HDV907.
On July 23 at approximately 7:18pm, Steinbach RCMP received report of a stolen truck. In this incident, the truck had been parked at a business located in Blumenort while the owner was out for work from July 13 to 22. The truck is described as a white 2018 Ford F150 Platinum Supercrew with Manitoba licence plate J41611.
On July 25, at approximately 7:30am, a black 2011 Dodge Ram pickup was stolen from the Wilson Street area in Steinbach.
