Three males were arrested this past weekend after trying to flee Steinbach RCMP at a location in Blumenort, Manitoba.
On April 1, 2017 at approximately 3am, Steinbach RCMP were on patrol in Blumenort and located a vehicle speeding and driving erratically in a new subdivision of Blumenort.
Police attempted to pull over the vehicle in question in order to investigate, and upon doing so, three male subjects fled from the vehicle on foot. Two of the male subjects were taken into custody within minutes by the police on scene who pursued the males. The third male who was the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody shortly thereafter with assistance from Cpl. Henderson and Enzo of the Steinbach Police Dog Services.
RCMP report that all of the subjects taken into custody were intoxicated and open liquor was located in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle is facing charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.
