Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of two missing people from the community, 51-year-old George Patrick Fortin and 15-year-old Tia Osborne.
On October 19, 2022, at approximately 9:45am, Thompson RCMP received a report of a missing 51-year-old male, George Patrick Fortin. George Fortin was last seen on October 14, 2022, at his residence located on Ashberry Place in Thompson.
George Fortin is described as approximately 5’4″ tall, weighs 200 lbs, has grey hair, a beard and brown eyes. He is believed to be wearing a “bush” style jacket, a hat and carrying a backpack.
Police believe that George Fortin may have travelled to The Pas, Manitoba.
On October 21, 2022, RCMP received a report stating that Tia Osborne was missing. Tia was last seen on October 21, 2022 at approximately 7:30am on Stanford Bay, in Thompson.
Tia Osborne is described as having a slim build, long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue sweater and black jogging pants.
