St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP are reporting that a 19-year-old Lorette woman has recently died as the result of a vehicle rollover near New Bothwell, Manitoba.
On July 10, 2023, at approximately 4:45am, St. Pierre-Jolys responded to a single vehicle rollover at a location on Highway 206, near New Bothwell in the RM of Hanover.
Police say that a passerby noticed a vehicle in the ditch, called emergency services and stopped to assist.
RCMP report that the driver, an 18-year-old male from Niverville, along with a 19-year-old female passenger, from Lorette, were both taken to hospital with severe injuries.
Officers noted that later on the same day, the female passenger succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, and the Criminal Collision Investigation Team, continue to investigate this incident.
