The City of Steinbach has announced that starting Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Barkman Avenue will be one-way traffic from Penner Street to Beaver Crescent, with traffic moving eastwards.
Officals advise that residents will be able to access their houses as the contractor starts reconstructing the south side of the street. Barkman Avenue from Henry Street to Penner Street will remain local access only.
The City of Steinbach thanks motorists in advance for following signage, reducing speed, and using caution in these areas.
