Manitoba RCMP are reporting that a Gilbert Plains man has recently been arrested and charged after a large quantity of stolen property was recovered in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba.
As part of an ongoing property theft investigation, West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST), along with Dauphin RCMP, recently executed a search warrant at a rural property located in Gilbert Plains.
As a result of the search, officers recovered a large number of stolen property, including heavy machinery, trucks, off road vehicles, trailers and snowmobiles. The estimated value of the stolen items is $375,000.
Police say that they have identified the owners of all the stolen items.
RCMP report that 25-year-old Jordy Robertson of Gilbert Plains is facing a number of charges related to this incident, including 12 counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
