St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing man from Grunthal, 49-year-old John Michael Klassen.
On October 14, 2023, St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP received a report stating that John Michael Klassen was missing. John Klassen, who also goes by the name John Fillmore, was last in contact with family in August.
Police believe that John Klassen travelled to Ontario during the summer. His family hasn’t heard from him in a couple of months and are concerned for his well-being.
Investigation to date has determined that John Klassen may be near Mindemoya or M’Chigeeng First Nation in Ontario. It is believed that he may be driving a 2014 black Dodge pick-up truck with British Columbia licence plate 51036.
John Klassen is described as 5’9″ tall, weighs 170 lbs, has brown hair and hazel eyes. Police noted that John is a double leg amputee who uses prosthetic legs.
