Flin Flon RCMP are reporting that five individuals have been arrested and charged in connection to a recent robbery and aggravated assault incident that occurred in the community.
RCMP recently received reports of an assault that occurred outside a business located on Main Street in Flin Flon. Members were told that the victim was currently at his residence.
Officers immediately attended the residence and located the 24-year-old male victim with significant injuries. The victim advised officers that he was attacked outside a business on Main Street by a group of individuals. The suspects also tried to steal his bank card, but were unsuccessful.
Police say that the victim was subsequently taken to hospital.
Surveillance video was obtained which showed several males and females assaulting the victim by punching and kicking him. Officers identified five of the suspects and they were arrested without incident.
RCMP report that three female teens are facing charges of robbery and aggravated assault. Also charged in this investigation was 22-year-old Collin Pruden, and 22-year-old Darrel Dumas.
