Portage la Prairie RCMP are currently investigating a recent armed robbery incident and are asking the public for any information that may help identify the two male suspects involved.
On February 16, 2024, at approximately 9:10pm, RCMP responded to a robbery at a business located on Saskatchewan Avenue East, in Portage la Prairie.
Police investigation determined that two male suspects entered the business armed with a firearm and a knife. They then demanded money, assaulted the employee, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
RCMP noted that the 31-year-old male victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.
The suspects are described as male and wearing all dark clothing.
