The City of Steinbach has announced that a portion of the north sidewalk on Elmdale Street (along the arena), between Lumber Avenue and Reimer Avenue, will be closed starting Tuesday, September 4.
City officials say that the closure will last for approximately two months and is due to work being done at the Southeast Event Centre. During this time, crosswalk access will remain open at Lumber Avenue and Reimer Avenue, and the south sidewalk on Elmdale Street.
The City thanks the public for patience as work continues on this downtown project.
