A 31-year-old Stonewall man has died after the SUV he was driving collided with a farm tractor at a location on Highway 21, just south of Provincial Road 543 in the Rural Municipality of Sifton.
Virden RCMP recently received a report of a collision between an SUV and a farm tractor in the RM of Sifton.
Police investigation determined that the SUV, confirmed to have been stolen from Winnipeg, was traveling south on Highway 21, when it veered over the center line and collided head-on with a northbound farm tractor.
RCMP report that the 31-year-old male driver of the SUV, from Stonewall, was pronounced deceased on scene. The 21-year-old male driver of the farm tractor was not physically injured as a result of this incident.
