On July 9, 2017, just before 3:30pm, Headingley RCMP received a report that a youth had been shot at the Lakeside Hutterite Colony in the RM Cartier, Manitoba.
Police say that a 16-year-old male youth, who was pronounced deceased at the scene, was with other youth at the time of the incident.
RCMP are not concerned for public safety in relation to the shooting.
RCMP Major Crime Services is assisting with the ongoing investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
