On August 6, 2017, at approximately 2:10am, Cross Lake RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 374. The traffic stop led to the search of the vehicle which resulted in the seizure of 154 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana, 52 Tylenol 3 tablets as well as a quantity of liquor.
As a result of the search, RCMP have arrested and charged 18-year-old Garrett Ross, 25-year-old Tamar Thomas, 27-year-old Shannah Scott and 50-year-old Dolores Thomas. All individuals are from Cross Lake and each are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime.
