4-H Canada is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 CIBC 4-H Post-Secondary Scholarships. The scholarships are part of CIBC’s strong history of supporting youth entering into a post-secondary education in the field of engineering, arts, science, business, agriculture or health, beginning in the fall of 2017. Thanks to the generous support of CIBC, eight 4-H members will each receive a $1,000 scholarship towards their post-secondary education.
“We are very fortunate to have a partner like CIBC in helping to support our youth member’s post-secondary education,” said Shannon Benner, CEO of 4-H Canada. “Having a partner that recognizes the importance of post-secondary success is truly priceless and it really goes a long way in helping to empower and foster true leadership among the recipients.”
The delivery of these programs would not be possible without the ongoing and long-term partnerships with organizations like CIBC that share this vision and recognize the importance of advancing positive youth development in Canada.
“CIBC is proud to support the efforts of 4-H Canada, an organization that plays an active role in helping Canada’s youth realize their full potential and build a better future,” said Dino Medves, Senior-Vice President, Commercial Banking at CIBC. “I would like to congratulate this year’s outstanding CIBC 4-H Post-Secondary Scholarship recipients and wish them continued success in the future.”
