Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a theft incident where a quantity of gold and silver were stolen from a local residence in the RM of Reynolds.
On September 4, 2017, Steinbach RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence located in the RM of Reynolds, Manitoba. When police arrived on scene, the male resident of the home stated that bars of gold and silver, which he had kept inside the residence, had been stolen.
Police investigation has determined that a substantial amount of gold and silver in small denomination bars was stolen from the residence. The bars are described as one ounce to 10 ounces in weight and are approximately the size of a business card.
