Thompson RCMP have made two arrests in connection to a recent drug-related investigation.
During the late evening hours of December 7, 2017, Thompson RCMP executed a search warrant under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence located in the Eastwood area of Thompson. As a result of the search, police located and seized over two ounces of cocaine, various drug paraphernalia, and a small quantity of Canadian currency.
RCMP report that 20-year-old Tyler Spence from Thompson, along with a 16-year-old youth were arrested at the scene. Both individuals are facing numerous drug-related charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
RCMP would like to remind the public that those who produce and traffic illicit drugs destroy lives, homes and communities. The RCMP remain fully committed to enforcing laws against illicit drugs to their fullest extent.
