A new video scoreboard was installed this past week at the T.G. Smith Centre in Steinbach. The project was part of a joint effort by the City of Steinbach and Steinbach Pistons.
The City notes that the new scoreboard is over 200 square feet and measures 18 feet by 11.4 feet. It is connected to the arena’s existing audio system. In addition to advertising content, the LED screen will show player profiles and game highlights including over-net cameras for goal replays.
With installation complete, final programming and training will take place this week.
