A 47-year-old Rosenfeld man has died after his vehicle collided with a tree in the community of Rosenfeld, Manitoba.
On February 11, 2018, at approximately 1:45am, officers from the Morden RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Main Street in the community of Rosenfeld, Manitoba.
Investigators believe that a northbound vehicle with two occupants, a 47-year-old male and 47-year-old female, both from Rosenfeld, lost control of their vehicle, rolled, and collided with a tree.
Police say that the female occupant was able to exit the vehicle and walk to the nearest home and call for help. The male occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene while the female occupant was taken to hospital in serious condition.
RCMP report that the occupants were not wearing their seatbelts and alcohol and speed are being investigated as possible factors in the collision. Officers from the Morden RCMP along with an RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
